Swiss Bolex REX-3 H16 Reflex 16mm Film Camera - Lenses, Accessories, Case, NR:
$521.00

Swiss Bolex REX-3 H16 Reflex 16mm Film Camera - Lenses, Accessories, Case sale.
This was purchased new in Spokane Washington in the 60\'s and has been stored in a closet in Washington for maybe 40 years. I think it was used to shoot some high school or college sports events, possibly a trip to Hawaii and stored in one location until it was given to me. There\'s an expiration date on one unopened 16mm Kodachrome II box of film for July 1968. I brought it back to NYC as carry on luggage and kept it stored with the intention of using it but finally just deciding to sell.
The only issues I can find is slight scuffing on the outside of the case, the extra 2nd rubber light blocker is yellowed, and the long black lens attached to the camera can be wobbled no more than about 3mm. Looking through the viewfinder with that lens it\'s able to focus, zoom, and adjustapertureand everything is fine but if it gets physically bumped it does jump. Not an expert in 16mm camera\'s so I\'m trying my best to list anything that might be an issue. Otherwise everything just seems to be in excellent to mint condition. If there\'s anything you want a photo or video of or a description of me testing feel free to ask.

Just a note from a friendly watcher of this sale. It\'s a REX-4 instead of a REX-3. I verified this from the serial 211388. I apologize for the error although apparently that means it\'s a slightly more sophisticated model.
\"The H16 REX-4 was introduced in 1965 and featured a 1:1 drive shaft. This modification allowed for the attachment of electronic sync sound motors such as the Perfectone and MST.\"
