Ten Tec 227 Antenna TunerThis versatile compact little T-network tuner covers all ham bands from 160 through 10. It is rated at 100 watts continuous and 200 watts intermittent. It has a built in balun to allow use with balanced line antennas in addition to coax fed antennas. It also has a built-in antenna switch that will accept up to 3 antennas plus a dummy load as well as a bypass position that switches the tuner out of the circuit. The inductor has 47 positions. I tested this with my 130\' open wire fed dipole and was able to tune to 1:1 on both 80 and 40. There are no arcs or burnt areas - very clean inside. It is very nice cosmetically with the exception of the scratched area of paint loss on the top cover. From a non-smoking home - no smoke smells. Size is approx 8.25\"x7\"x3.5\" not counting knobs or connectors. As with all vintage electronic equipment it is sold \"AS IS\" and without warranty of any kind, but it is as described.
