Tiffany favrile rare Tel el Amarna vase Art Nouveau For Sale

For sale a stunning and very rare TiffanyFavrile Tel-El-Amarna vase. This very pretty vase dates to the 1stdecade of the 20th Century and is formed from a body of richturquoise blue glass with a black glass foot and neck. The neck is formed of aring of shiny black glass with a flaring matt black and iridescent glassattenuated neck. I would imagine that the shape of this vase is inspired by theancient world and the colour has been inspired by Egyptian vases of antiquity.This stunning little vase stands just 14cm in height, it is fully signed 9162KL.C. Tiffany – Favrile. The condition is generally very good, though there is asmall surface chip (2mm) to the body and 3 small surface cracks (possibly frommanufacture) and a couple of scratches. Overall a lovely and very rare piece ofstudio glass from one of the greatest manufacturers of decorative glass.
