Description: TIFFANY STUDIOS FAVRILE GLASS MOSQUE LAMP New York, Early 20th Century
Topped with iridescent gold cap. Shade with bulbous shoulder above tapered octagonal body. Green and gold iridescent pulled feather design on a cream-colored ground. On a gilt bronze-mounted ebonized wood electrified base.
Signed: \"L.C.T. Favrile\" inside the cap and on the fitter.
Size:Height 8.25 inch or 21 cm, Diameter of shade 5 1/2 inches (14 cm.)
Condition Report: Glass is good condition. No chips, cracks, or restorations. There is a darkened ring around the fitter, which is in the make. Cover with three small dark surface imperfections. Base lacking pull cord. Socket and wiring replaced, although not recently. Wear to ebonized surface where shade has rubbed against it. Gilt-bronze is covered by a layer of grime, but has very little loss.
