Tin Ohio Art Tea Set, Two Plates \"Red Riding Hood\" 1930\'s, Rare, EX Cond. For Sale

Pictured are two Ohio Art RRH tea set plates, circa 1930. The plates picture Red Riding Hood in the forest with a very ferocious looking wolf. The plates are marked \"MADE IN U.S.A. OHIO ART CO. BRYAN, OHIO\'\'.This set was never seen by any members of the Ohio Art Collectors Club when I wasa member & believe me, between all the members we had vast collections of Ohio Art. Some of us had the same opinion that perhaps this set was a factory made prototype tea set that was never marketed. If anyone out there owns an Ohio Art tea set with this designor has pieces in their collection, I would be verygrateful if they would email me through .I consider these plates to be in excellent condition even though one plate has some flea bites on the rim of the plate & the other has a oxidation spot above the wolf back that looks like it is part of the tree behind his back. The back of the plates have some minor wear marks. The two plates display beautifully and would be a fine additionto any O. A. collection. I am a former member of the Ohio Art Collectors club. It was our goal to identify, collect & research all tin litho items made by the O. A. company. I displayed & gave programs on Ohio Art toDoll, Toy & Antique clubs for many years. Also gave programs at a local museum. Please study all photos & ask any questions before offerding.
