Here is a scarce Toshiba 8TP-90 transistor radio with leather case and two original boxes. The radio has obviously been used, but has no cracks or chips. The front of the radio and the grill are quite nice, showing very little wear, although the back, the sides, the top and bottom do show some minor wear and minor scuffing on the edges. There is some wear on the edge of the volumedial when it’s in the “off” position, which you can see in one of the photos. The antenna is loose, and as you can see in the chassis photo there is apparently something missing at the corner of the antenna. The front and back of the radio do not fit together quite as tightly as they should,but it\'s not loose enough to come apartduring normal handling.The metal kickstand on the back is somewhat loose and does not lock into place. The leather case is in good shape with a small black spot on the top.The strap shows wear and the previous owners name is written on the inside of the strap. The radio does work -itreceives several stations with good volume at my location.
As for the rarely seen boxes, the gold top of the inner box shows some scuffing. The outer box is in decent shape, showing some wear mainly at the upper right corner, where there is a1 inch longtear on the edge. The previous owner’s name is written on one end of the box.
