I did a test, I turned the unit on and press the line test button and turned the line voltage knob and themeter pointer moved and adjust to the center.The case has some ware and the white string that goes around the outer side of case has broke apart on one side, this does no affect the unit and is only notable to one side of the outer case. There is a couple small tears to the outer case.
