Tulip Decorated ANTIQUE 5 Gallon STONEWARE CROCK Evan R. Jones Pittston PA

This crock measures approx. 13 1/4 wide at the handles and 12 3/4 inches tall. Decorated with flowers in cobalt blue. Tulips I think. Marked by maker with large 5 for size.

CONDITION: Good overall. There is a hairline crack on the top edge near the handle (see photo) that shows on the outside but is not on the inside. There is also another small crack on the inside top edge that only shows on the inside. There is also a fine hairline crack along the base edge that does not show on the inside and a small spider crack near the base that also does not show on the inside also. None of these cracks appear on both the outside and inside at the same time. I believe these were all done in the firing and do not represent later damage. The crock has a nice ping when I rap my knuckles against it. My photos show all I think but let me know if you have any questions ?
