US WORLD WAR II ARMY AIRBORNE & AIR FORCES AIR CREW STERLING CATERPILLAR PIN For Sale

United States World War II Army Airborne and Army Air Forces Air Crew Caterpillar pin in Sterling.  The dimensions are 3/4\" long and 2/8\" in width.  This pin is of a one piece sterling and red paint construction. It consists of a caterpillar with red painted eyes.  The reverse is stamped \"STERLING\" and has a thin horizontal pin with a safety catch.  These caterpillar pin were given to Airborne soldiers and Army air crew who\'s experienced parachute equipment failure while jumping from an aircraft.  This pin is in excellent original condition.
