U.S. WW2 BLADE MARKED CASE M3 KNIFE /1ST PATTERN M8 SCABBARD.. NICE VET SET. For Sale

I have for sale a 1st pattern United States M3 Trench/Fighting knife & M8 Scabbard in very nice condition. The Case M3 knife is in great condition considering this saw active combat for awhile, pretty much all finish is gone but blade still well marked as pics should show. Leather handle is in solid condition, nothing loose as far as leather gaskets go but the cross guard is a little loose which is very common. The pommel is tight but I see nomarkingson it. The first pattern M8 scabbard is in good condition with nosplittingor other nasty issues on the body other then the tip being broken which I was told just recently was sometimes done by the owner to allow any water to escape, Vp marking hardly there. Steelthroat is marked \"U.S. M8 B.M.CO.\"and is in good shape with nothing bent or dented, it is war time marked on the bottom of the wing. The webbing is in good shape but once again shows it was a true combat used item, snap works perfectly. A very nice item to add to any WW2 US knifecollectionor a paratrooper/infantrymen display.
