USA & Aristo Craft G Scale PRR Passenger Train Set, Beautiful For Sale

Set includes: 2 USA F3A’s # 9519 & 9556, #1 & #2. 9519 is the lead unit. It has custom flashing ditch lights. 5mm bright white LED’s on a 9v alternating flasher circuit with a toggle switch on the front of the tank. They flash only. They could wired to a sound unit, bypassing the flasher circuit for full function ditch lights. This also operates the yellow beacon on top. It alternates from yellow to bright yellow. It is a flashing LED. It could be wired separate to a set of AA of AAA batteries for on to off blinking. Batteries are in the tank. The diaphragms in my opinion are one of USA’s BAD ideas. The locos were a mile apart from each other which looked ridiculous. I modified the USA couplers and close coupled the locos. They will clear a 5 ft radius. Loco # 9556 has NO FRONT MOTOR BLOCK***The side frames are still there. It was taken for an emergency repair. The photo was taken before its removal. USA couplers on both ends. The diaphragms will be included but NOT INSTALLED. Stock # 1st, R22358 & 2nd R22358, Tuscan 5 Stripe color. Passenger cars: These are the older Aristo-Craft units with lighting but NO INTERIORS, they are extruded aluminum. Green tinted windows. Unless you are putting your head in the windows your not missing anything. The warm green glow is wonderful. Anyway this was on an overhead system, interior detail was unimportant. The ugly black box under the car was been removed, I still have them but it made no scene. It is the same thing under the Aristo FA! All passenger cars have been LOWERED to the PROPER height. They came very HIGH IN THE SATTLE, Aristo thing with LGB??. Now the couplers have been modified to USA and to close the gap between cars for a much better look. They swing free, no spring. They need to be manually coupled. I did not do loco yard moves, just a very slow cruise overhead.. If I would keep this set I would install Katy’s and be done. Cars are ART #32408, observation, (this has a plastic tail which has been painted to match as close as possible the car color. It has a blinking red LED on the tail light, a switch under the body to activate. Battery power. The end cap comes off very easily to access the battery.) 32608 vista dome, 32308 coach, 32508 diner. There are signs on the side of the cars, Delaware, Horseshoe Curve, Altoona & Manhattan Transfer. The red tint on the cars are from an over head red umbrella. All passenger cars are silver with a tuscan stripe.
