You are offerding on a Very Cool Early 1960s Tin Lithographed with Rubber Frankenstin Robot Toy by Marx - NEAT! The body on this piece is tin lithograph with rubber hands and face. The remote control case is plastic. This piece has some light wear due to storage condition - I\'ve done a light cleaning but he could use more as he was quite dusty. Additionally, I note some discoloration to his hands and on his face - not sure if the rubber will clean up or not. Some bubbling of the tin litho finish around his neck and a small nick noted to the rubber cover on the wire that goes from the remote control to the Frankenstin body. I was not able to get him to function, even after putting 2 D-size batteries in the battery compartment (batteries are not included with this toy). The compartment is nice and clean and I\'m not sure what would be required to get him running. The remote control has 4 buttons for 4 functions: bend (where he bends up and down ), open - close (where his hands clasp together), walk (he walks) and up - down (his arms go up and down). Again, I was not able to get any of these functions to work. He measures 13\" tall and his shoulder width is 7\". Remote control is 5 3/4\" in length. He looks to be all original. I note that one shoulder has 2 rivets in place (with 3 holes) and the other shoulder only has 1 rivet in place (same 3 holes but the one rivet on this side is in the spot that there is no rivet on the other side) - not sure if this is a repair or if some rivets are missing. He is marked on his back with the Marx Toys Logo as well as \"cLOUIS MARX & CO., INC. c UNIVERSAL PICTURES CO., INC.: and \"Made in Japan\". A Very Cool Early 1960s Marx Tin Lithograph with rubber Frankenstein Robot - Battery Operated Remote Control - Not Working but still a VERY COOL Vintage Piece!
