You are offerding on a very old fly reel that measures 3\" in diameter by 1 1/8\" in width. The reel sports a brass foot with a 3 rivet design and also has a buffalo horn handle. It appears to be made of brass and aluminum alloy and is marked on the back: Made in England. The line port appears to be made of German silver with an agate or pink porcelain insert. The reel cranks very smoothly and has a good strong click. This very old fly reel seems to be made in the likeness of a Hardy reel and could possibly be a prototype.This is a sale.
