Details: This is a old sign from the Phillip Zang Brewing Co. of Denver, Colorado advertising their Louis Schmidt Beer on Draught. It is not dated, but certainly very old, pre-prohibition for sure but possibly back to the 1880s-90s even. It is marked at the bottom \"WM. SACHS, DENVER\" which was the sign maker no doubt. The words are engraved into the metal - for some reason to me they look like they are raised in a couple of the photos, but that is just an optical illusion, the letters are lower than the sign surface. There are 12 screw holes around the edges, probably for hanging out front of a bar. There are another 4 holes surrounding the name LOUIS SCHMIDT, not sure what those were for. This is made of a non-magnetic metal, and weighs about 5 pounds 4 ounces. Measures 24 by 12 inches. Condition: Some minor dents and bends, with a nice patina - see photos
