up for sale is a very rare garcia mitchell 524 forked foot spinning reel that is mint. these 500 series reels will only the special rod with the special reel seat. please look at pictures they can describe the reel better than i can. i have only seen one other one of these reel sell on and i sold it some time back. these reels were sold late 73 and early 74. no record of how many were made. rod in picture not included in sale, used to show reel mounting. if you are not happy with this reel send it back and i will refund your money. thanks for looking
