A very beautiful and very hard to find Pittsburgh Gone With The Wind oil lamp.

Glassy outside iridized early carnival glass finish and crystal satin inside finish, deeply embossed puffy buttons or flowers,fancy spill ring and foot.Lampis fitted with a typical Success 5\" drop in font.Called Button Tufted or Sunken Hollyhock, made by Pittsburgh Lamp Brass & Glass, ca PA,ca. 1890s.

Quite Large Lamp,measures 25\"tall to the top of the shade, 12\" to the top of the font spill ring,8\" across the fancy openwork foot. Compare with other items (Not Included!) in the last photo.

The lamp displays beautifully, the glass on the base with no chips or cracks, dirty inside so looks a bit darker than the shade. The shade has no chips, but 3-4 cracks that are hard to find in the design, and the top was cut crooked at the factory. The oil tank is cracked and electrified, switch drilled into the foot. Overall, showing some signs of age that didn\'t ever bother me given the relative scarcity of these lamps, and she displays fabulously.
