Vintage, antique, wood, old, table top tube radio : Zenith, model 6D625 For Sale

This is a very nice 1941Zenith Tube Radio model 6D625. This highly sought after and collectable little guy is commonly referred to as the \"Toaster\" by the collectors. The radio is 12\" long x 7\"tall x 7\" deep and is made entirely of solid dark woods. The knobs appear to be original and function well. The dial face and pointer are in excellent condition and the cabinet looks excellent as well. The radio has a new dial cover, new AC power cord, filter caps, wax/paper caps, and all tubes have been tested. The radio has at one time had the speaker replaced with a vintage Jensen speaker which sounds excellent. There is a built in \"loop\" antenna which receives stations across the dial very well. The volume is excellent and the voice/tone is clear. The radio plays excellent and sounds excellent. Being sold as is with no return and all sales are final.
