Vintage 1930\'s Pie Eyed Mickey & Minnie Mouse Lusterware Ashtray Japan For Sale

This scarce 1930\'s lusterware ashtray has pie eyed Mickey and Minnie Mouse seated---- 5 inches across the front, 3 inches high and just over 3 inches deep.Marked Made in Japan, it has the usual imperfections of similar ware from the period - slap dash glazing and lumpy surfaces--- no doubt from the Great Depression era.There is a repair on Mickey---see pics----where he was carefully glued and the repair filled and sanded---ready for color.Souvenir of Philadelphia transfer is partially intact on the front of this.
