Vintage 1946 General Electric Model NC-6-GC Refrigerator 6 cu ft For Sale

This 6 cu ft refrigerator is approximately 70years old and has been in one family since purchase. It measures 52-1/2” tall, 24” wide and 22”deep (24” including handle and 26-1/2” with back panel and handle included) and was designed for use inapartments due to its smaller size. Insidemeasurements are 36” tall, 16-1/4” deep and 18” across. The freezer measures 12-1/2” deep and 7-3/4” widewith the ice compartment 2-1/2” tall and the food compartment 6-1/2” tall. To myknowledge the paint is original with the exception of the black paint on the frontof the kick plate. Looks like my father madeseveral small touch-ups on the white.While I cleaned it with a gentle cleanser there are a variety of smallmarks/scratches that might be able to be buffed out – nothing significant. There is a small dent (2“) on the lower rightoutside section of the door. Shelves and bin areoriginal. Drawers were not part of thismodel. No ice cube trays. I had the seal replaced approximately 12years ago and the cord may need to be replaced as it has electrical tape at theplug end. Inside of refrigeratorsparkles as it has been well cared for over the years. No disgusting smells!! Would be a great addition to a mid-century kitchen, pantry or bonus/party room.
