Vintage 1950s Tall-Crown Fedora 7 1/4 Cavanagh Edge 15X Beaver Great Cond. For Sale

This is a very distinctive 1950s 15X beaver fedora by Bill Taylor Hat Mfg. Co. of Cleveland, OH with a very tall crown and Cavanagh edge. Hat is is excellent shape with no stains or moth-holes, all original ribbons intact and unfrayed, and the leather sweatband fully attached. It even still has the little bow at the back and trolley cord. The leather of the sweatband is soft, so it has more give than stiffer sweatbands and has tiny creases in some places. Other than that, the only other signs of wear are a few small spots inside the plastic lining, pictured in detail, and some wrinkling of the outer ribbon, which can be easily ironed.

Size 7 1/4. High crown is 4 3/4\" tall, brim 2 1/8\", ribbon 2\" wide.
