Original 8\" Jensen Field CoilSpeaker !Made In USA!This is really cool. You are looking at a Vintage 1952 Gibson BR-9 All Tube Amp. Originally sold with a Lap Steel, the BR-9 was an affordable package for a student player.
Tone, Tone, Tone. That\'s what the BR-9 is all about. This low wattage amp is great for recording. Also makes a great Harp amp. Breaks up very early. The circuit is similar to a Fender Champ, but the tone is darker. These are real sleeper amps for about one half the cost of a Fender Tweed Champ. Gibson really was an innovator in amp design after WWII. Gibson hired a lot of returning vets in their engineering department and they were very creative in their amp designs.Other than the leather handle that we replaced, this amp is all original. Our tech serviced thisBR-9. You won\'t have to spend any additional monies. It is GigReady on Keep in mind that this is a 65 year old vintage amp that has been used.Everything is Clean and Nice.All lettering legibleon the instrument control bezel. Pristine.Dripping with \"Mojo\" It is used. Not perfect. Look at the pictures closely. They will tell the story.
