Vintage 1960\'s Gibson GA-8T Discoverer Tremolo Guitar Amplifier For Sale

This 1960\'s Gibson GA-8T Discoverer Tremolo ampwas manufactured in Kalamazoo, Michigan; U.S.A. It is serial#74018. This amp is in good shape with minor wear and some pitting in chromeon control panel as shown in pictures.
(1) 12\" Gibson speaker is bad needs to be replaced or reconed,(2) inputs,15 watts,Bass & Treble tone controls, Tremolo-Depth & Frequency controls, Echo speaker jack, Monitor jack and comes with the original footswitch.
The amp has been thoroughly gonethrough by a professional amp and electronic tech. Hereplaced the power tubes, verified bias of power tubes, tested all tubes, replaced (2) 6EU7 preamp tubes, removed bad or wrong parts, replaced power supply resistors, replaced filter caps, verified voltages throughout, verified output on scope & burned in, checked all functions, clean/tightened controls, jacks and hardware, retentioned/cleaned all tube sockets.
The amp itself is functioning fine. The speaker is bad and will need to be replaced or reconed, The amp therefore needs a new speaker and was not replaced leaving itup to the individual for their own personal preferred sound choice.
