This is really Cool. You are looking at aVintage 1966 Epiphone Electra EA-26 RVT Combo Amp. The Epiphone counterpart to a member of the Gibson \'Rocket\' Series amp, all made side-by-side in the original Kalamazoo Gibson Factory (this is closest to the Minuteman). This is one RARE amp!!!! Surprisingly loud even though it is probably only rated at 20-25 watts output . Hand-wired with quality components, made the USA and less than you would pay for some cookie-cutter cheesy import!!!
So how does it sound? I would say it is fairly loud for its size, clean when volume is up halfway, with a snarl and grit that starts to appear with single coils when volume is up. Breakup starts sooner with humbuckers, and the tone stack absolutely affects how and when breakup occurs. There are a ton of sounds in this amp, no pedals required. The reverb is deep. Tremolo is voiced not unlike a Fender amp, but more staccato when the intensity is cranked. Awesome Recording Amp!
