Have you been looking for that survivor quality 1978 Bally Playboy pinball? This is an original survivor that is from a Midwest family. This machine was in a basement for years and they are downsizing. These pinball machines are uncommon, especially in this shape. Please scroll down and enjoy the 70+ photos. If you cannot view all the photos, please click the cabinet is fairly clean as you can see but does have some marks and other imperfections. The play field does have some wear as shown in the photos and some marks. The play field glass does have some marks as well. The back glass has some light peeling as you can see. The good news is the back glasses are reproduced we are told. Mechanically, it lights up but does not play. Figure the battery and probably some board repair due to age. It is being sold as-is due to age and needing repair.

According to the Internet Pinball Machine Data Base, the back glass depicts Hugh Hefner with 1976 Playmate Patti McGuire and 1977 Playmate Sondra Theodore. Tom Nieman, VP of Marketing for Bally Pinball, told us his name or initials appeared on most backglasses of this time period for which he obtained the license. On this game, his name appears on the champagne bottle. We also love the start up tune, Grotto tune, and bonus score countdown tune resemble portions of Cy Coleman\'s \"Playboy\'s Theme\" from the 1969 TV show \"Playboy After Dark\".
