Offered here is a rare set of bronze patinated bookends by AMW - Art Metal Works - an affiliate of Ronson. These bookends were inspired byAustriansculptor Josef Lorenzl.
They are stamped Art Metal Works and dated 1937 on the base behind the women - see photos
The patina is outstanding. A couple of slightly lighter spots due to rubbing from use as bookends.
These are elegant in their simplicity, and the construction is outstanding. You are not going to find a set in better condition.

The bookends are 6inches tall, 4 1/2 inches deep and 3 3/4 inches wide
