**This sale is Fora TERRIFIC Vintage / Antique Mcclellan Cavalry Military Saddle~ In Very Nice Clean Condition & Great Working Order!~ Let Me Start by Saying That Cavalry / Military Items Are not My Area of Expertise, so Please Used Photos as Your Guide & Feel Free to Message Me With Any Questions ~That Being Said~ REAL Nice WELL Cared For Saddle!~ NICE Deep Seat Measures Approx. 14-1/2\" From Inside Pommel to Stitching on Seat~ Nice Roomy Seat~ I Normally Ride in a 16\" Seat Western Saddle & Have Room to Spare in This Saddle~BROWN Leather With BRASS & IRON Hardware~ Comes Complete With Leather Billet & Off Billet Straps~ Really Neat Leather Hooded Stirrups With Nice Deep Style WOOD Stirrups Underneath ~ From What I Was Told at Time of Purchase, This Saddle Was Built on an Original Mcclellan Cavalry Tree & Was Re-Leathered / Covered Approx. 35-40 Years Ago, Which Looks Correct, as The Leather is in Very Nice Clean Supple Condition & Shows Very Little Wear~ The Leather Covered Hooded Stirrups Look to be Older / Original & Leather Shows Some Wear, But Still Nice & Solid~ Wood Stirrups Look to be Hand Carved~ Along With Being a GREAT Saddle for Your Collection or Display Piece, I Think it Would be TERRIFIC For Period Reenactments or Period Appropriate Movie Set or Prop!~ **As With Any Older Vintage Antique Saddle, You Will Want Look it Over Well Before Use to Insure a SAFE Ride!!~ Saddle is in Overall Nice Clean Condition With Light Normal Wear, as Pictured!!
