Here\'s a rather wonderful artist reproduction of a French bebe! Beautiful mold by Seeley has been expertly painted by artist BSR- sure wish we knew who that is, as the eyebrows, lashes, and open/closed lips are precisely done! There is a large chip to one ball joint as see, though with a costume on it would become all but invisible. Nice large size, and the good news is that she has a superb wig (more brown than red) on already- just restring this beauty and she\'s good to go!
Lovely hazel glass fixed eyes, no chips to fingers that we see. Well made and painted; brows are particularly well done. No chips or cracks to head, torso, upper arms or hands; chip to a ball joint as seen, other leg has no chips. Stringing, though there, is very loose. Wonderful project doll- great happy expression on this girl! And she\'d be well worth the effort- look at that expressive face!

Here at Marionettejilly, we try to be accurate with our descriptions- but we aren’t perfect, and we may have missed something that’s important to you-- so ask before an sale ends! We sell mostly vintage and antique items, with wear and the ravages of time as to be expected.
Do not expect our vintage items to be in new or like new condition- many of our items are fragile, played with, and many are over 100 years old.
AND---- many of our items have been in storage for years,so if you are allergic to dust, or sensitive to certain scents or smells, we do not recommend purchasing vintage items.Use your own good common sense, and expect an item to have a unique patina and history all its own- with imperfections inherent in antique pieces!
Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 10am to 5 pm, Eastern Standard Time. We cannot answer emails unless they come through the message system- this protects both parties. Emails received after these hours will be answered as promptly as is possible on the next business day. Please do not expect a response during the weekend- with any luck we are out doing something fun, far far away from the computer!

Our shipping represents not only postage but also time, gas, packing materials, and, as of July 2011, the 7.5% Final Value Fee that charges to shipping. We do flat rate shipping so that buyers know in advance what shipping will be before a offer is placed; please be aware that we do not barter about shipping once an item has ended.
We ship most items anywhere in the world, and yes, we will combine shipping on multiple wins.Combined sales, no matter how small, are a minimum of an additional $1.00 per added sale,for up to four small items; in the case of larger items, such as dolls, shipping will be adjusted according to weight of the total package.
