Here is a vintage Bell & Howell Auto Master 16mm movie camera in good working condition. I believe this dates to the 1940s. It accepts Flimo film cartridges, and has a manual wind. The turret-head mounting system comes with three lenses and three matching viewfinders. The longer of the three lenses is an Elgeet 3-inch f/1.9 Cine Navitar. For some reason, this lens is wobbly and I\'m not sure why; the \"wobble\" is between the ring that selects the f-stop and the ring that fastens the lens to the camera. (I\'ve indicated this in the photo of the lens, above, so you can see exactly what I\'m talking about.) There is also a Kinotar 15mm 1:1.5 wide-angle lens, and a Bell & Howell Super Comat 1-inch f/1.9 lens.
This is a variable-speed camera, from 16 to 64 frames per second. With the exception of the loose lens connection (which is on the lens itself, not the camera), everything seems to be working just fine, it winds up and runs as it should and the turret turns easily and locks firmly into position. The brown textured enamel has worn off the lower right side of the steel case, and the indicator dial on that side is a little scruffy-looking. But it\'s very clean inside and the lenses appear to be clear and good. Overall, it\'s in very nice vintage condition.
