Vintage Cairns White Leather Fire Helmet Saugus Mass FD Rare Chaplin Shield For Sale

You are offerding on this great old leather fire helmet.This one is marked Cairns & Brothers on the inside.The shield says S.F.D. This hat came from the Saugus Massachusetts fire Department according to the family of thee estate that it came from.It has an unusual Chaplain shield.The hat appears to be in decent shape as shown.There are a couple of scratches on the shield.A dent on the front rim.Various areas of small paint loss / wear.Please see photos for details.Please see my other sales for a few other old helmets.
