It powers up and the sound of the guitar does come through. Perhaps not as much volume as it should have and there\'s a moderate hum that increases with the volume. Volume pot is a bit scratchy. The tubes have not been tested. It has a new power cord. There\'s a hole in the speaker on the outer edge which you can see in the pictures. The handle is broken on both sides, just barely hanging on one side. I haven\'t dated it conclusively, but based on a web-page it probably dates to 1952 or 1953. ! Selling AS-IS. No return.
