VINTAGE INDIANA GLASS SODA FOUNTAIN STACKING APOTHECARY CANDY JAR

GORGEOUS  old SAGE GREEN  pressed glass SODA FOUNTAIN COUNTER STACKING APOTHECARY CANDY JAR. I\'m guessing this beauty started out on a counter  in a soda fountain, drug store, cafe, or general store. The 5-piece stack includes the large base, 3 additional candy sections and the lid. Each piece sits securely within a well designed \"ledge\"...no fear of toppling! Thick heavy glass done in a well defined and crisply pressed pattern! Delightful pieces for your  buffet or countertop or home soda fountain!  The perfect color for you Autumn decor!

LARGE SIZE:  15-1/2\" TALL to the tip of the lid finial!  The base piece measures 6\" diameter x 5-1/4\" tall, with the base bottom diameter of 6-3/4\".  Each of the three smaller pieces measure 6\" diameter x 2\" tall.  This stack is very heavy, weighing in at 9 lb. before packing.

VERY NICE CONDITION! NO CHIPS EXCEPT ONE TINY FLAKE ON JUST ONE OF THE SMALL CANDY SECTIONS (see photo) !  NO CRACKS!  The glass is a TRANSPARENT SAGE GREEN and just SPARKLING. There are some bubbles and some strawmarks and swirls from the manufacture, as expected in old pressed glass.  There are some light, fine scratches ...not readily noticeable and best seen by holding  up to bright light.  There is just a few places where you will feel mold edge roughness...hardly any, but I wanted to mention it....very common in old pressed glass.  This is a CHARMING piece of mid century glassware and she displays beautifully. You won\'t be disappointed, she is an absolute TREASURE!
