Vintage Kodak Medalist II Rangefinder Camera with Ektar f/3.5 100mm Lens

This is a vintage 6x9 format Kodak rangefinder camera and Ektar lens combination, both made in in the United States between 1946 and 1953. The lens is the relatively standard f/3.5 100mm. This camera was designed to use Kodak\'s 620 film which is hard to locate. The camera can use respooled film or modified to accept the larger 120 film cases. The general consensus is that any owner must locate a copy of the owner\'s manual in PDF format which is available online from several sources. This camera and lens are both apparently in very fine condition with no damage and minimal signs of handling wear but is in dire need of a good cleaning. After careful examination with a magnifying glass and angled light I was able to see many light scratches probably caused by careless cleaning. This is new information since the item was originally listed. The brown natural cowhide leather formed is in good functional condition but shows extensive scratching and scraping which explains the quite good condition of the camera body. All components seem to work correctly and smoothly. This wonderful example of American post-war photographic equipment is offered with a very reasonable minimum offer sure to attract interest.
