Vintage Musser Model 45 Vibraphone Vibes NORESERVE For Sale

This is a vintage Musser Model M45 Vibraphone. The bars are made of aluminum metal material and measure 1 1/2\" wide and 1/2\" thick. The frame measures about 48\" long and 30 1/2\" wide at the widest part and 15\" at the narrow end. It is about 34\" high. The motor is present but does not work. The pulsators are present in the resonators.

The Vibraphone is Sold As Is and will make a nice vintage instrument with a little work. It has been in storage for a little while so it will need to be checked over and cleaned. I am not an expert but it sounds great as is with no working motor. You may want to restore it and fix the motor or it can be played as is. The bars have some wear, dings and scratches and could use cleaning as you can see. The dampening pedal works properly. The resonators have a few smaller dents and dings on the ends but nothing real bad. The frame seems to be solid and it folds for storage. The paint is worn so you may want to repaint the frame parts. The vibraphone will be partially disassembled for shipping and shipped in multiple boxes.
