Vintage Old Antique 1906 Gibson F2 F-2 Mandolin For Sale

Great playing with a fine robust tone this is a wonderful old Gibson. The F2 is the same mandolin as the top-o-the-linescroll F4, but with less fancy cosmetics. It has the pearl logo, bound top andbound ebony fingerboard with treble extension. Finish and hardware appearoriginal. Nice big woody sound from this mandolin with good bass!
No cracks or other shenanigans.
Newer hardshell case included.

Had some questions and comments about this old timer, so I had it checked out further; tuners and tailpiece have been changed, the fretboard too with shim underneath to get a better angle and the label is newer as well. Don\'t know if this was a factory job or other luthier. Anyhow thanks to all for your input. Apparently this old son of a gun has gone through some changes over it\'s century plus of existence so please be aware of that in your offerding.
