VintageResistol Kitten Finish Beaver Twenty light brown fur felt fedora hat7 1/8 with original box
Thisis a handsome Resistol “Pacesetter” Kitten Finish Beaver Twentylight brown (color is “Buffalo”) fur felt fedora - US size 7 1/8,22 1/4” inside circumference. The hat is a heavyweight felt and feels very plush. It is in very good overallcondition showing light wear for its age. I see no issues with thefelt or the leather band, and is still pliable with no crackingevident. It does not have any strange aromas or evidence ofbelonging to a smoker. The original box (shown) is included
Brimis 2 3/8” all the way around with a rolled finished edge.
Thecrown is about 5 1/4” tall, 4 3/4” at the front.
Theribbon is 1 7/8” light brown grosgrain.
Thesatin liner looks nearly new, with no ugly spots or discoloration.
The label/logoon the liner reads “Self-Conforming *Trade Mark*, RESISTOL Hats,Designed by Harry Rolnick”. U.S. Pat. Off. 407210. I believe thislogo is from the 50\'s - 60\'s

The box is inexcellent shape for its age, and has the original info and specs forthe hat, along with the price of $10.95!

This particular hat proved difficult to accuratelycapture and render the colors precisely, as you can see by the innerband composite. I have tried to represent the item as accurately aspossible, and try to not manipulate the color of the images, whichwere shot in a strobe flash environment.
