This is a vintage ROSS ENSIGN Selfix Special 12-20 Folding Rangefinder Camera, made during the 1950\'s. The camera comes in it\'s original box and has it\'s original leather case and alloy tripod mount.The camera is fitted with an f3.5, 75mm Ross Xpres Lens, with Iris Diaphram f22 and Epsilon Synchro Shutter 1-1/300 Second, B & T.The camera is complete and mechanically in good working order with very little wear. The camera unfolds and snaps into position perfectly and similarly shuts tightly. The bellows are in good condition, with one or two surface blemishes and superficial scuffs, but no holes or other damage that I can detect. The inside of the camera is also in good condition (see photos) and comes with the original takeup spool, but is a little dusty. This is a vintage ROSS ENSIGN Selfix \"Special\" 12-20 Folding Rangefinder Camera, made during the 1950\'s. The camera comes in it\'s original fitted box with leather case and alloy tripod mount.
The camera is fitted with an f3.5, 75mm Ross Xpres Lens, Iris Diaphram (f22) and Epsilon Synchro Shutter 1-1/300 Second, B & T.
The camera is complete and mechanically in working order with very little wear.
The camera unfolds and snaps into position perfectly and similarly shuts tightly.

The inside of the camera is also in good condition (see photos) and comes with the original takeup spool. Please note however the camera/lens is a little dusty, so for best results may benefit from being cleaned.
Whilst the shutter operates on all settings, as does the diaphram/aperture setting, they are untested for speed/accuracy. The lens is in good condition, with no chips or major scratches, but as mentioned above is quite dusty, so for best results may need cleaning. The viewfinder/rangefinder appears to be in good condition, with no chips or cracks to either of the lenses, but these would also benefit from being cleaned, as they are quite dusty.
The rangefinder appears to work and the images do merge when turning the dial, but I am not qualified to confirm the accuracy.
Whilst I can see no reason for the camera not to work, it is untested with film.
PLEASE NOTE: The accessory mount is slightly damaged (one side is chipped). Whilst I don\'t think it would prevent accessories from working, please see photos to confirm.
The camera comes in it\'s original fitted, satin lined box. The box is complete, but it is showing signs of age-related shelf wear, so has seen better days.
The leather case is complete, but would benefit from being polished. The leather strap is broken, so needs to be replaced. The camera comes with an alloy tripod mount.
