Vintage Swiss ANGELUS KAMADATE Triple Date Travel Alarm Clock 8 Day 15J REPAIR For Sale

A unique find from a clock collector\'s estate; a vintage Swiss made \'ANGELUS KAMADATE\' 8 day folding travel alarm clock, circa 1946 for Repair.The folding case is covered in brown leather, with some scuffing, scratches, dents, splitting at seam and loss to the leather. There is sometextured paper lining the area beneath the clock that has some tears and loss at the edges. The outer case hinge is in good condition.One ofthe metal \'hinge pins\' that holds the clock bezel to the inside of the leather case is MISSING, so the clock is \'loose\'inside the leathercase (pleasebecareful when opening the case as the clock WILL fall out.
The clock case / bezel has a copper colored plating with manyscratches, pitting to the outer surfaces and loss to some of the plating. One of thescrews that holds the bezel on is MISSING, along with one screw that holds on the movement cover. I woundthe stem and was able to giveboth the time and alarm mainspring a full wind. When pulling the crown out to set the hands; the hour hand started turning in unison with theminute hand and then stoppedfor a while near the 3 o\'clock position, and then started again; but was not in syncwith the minute hand. While turning the hands, thealarm DID sound, although the alarm hand is MISSING. The day and the date did advance; the month did NOT advance byturning the hands. The alarm setting knobis difficult to turn. All three of the dates advance properly using the small levers on the rear of the case.
The silvered dialis marked, \"ANGELUS, KAMADATE, 8, SWISS\". All the applied numerals are REMOVED / MISSING and there are manyscratches to the dial surface, along with the \'glue\' residue.There is a copper minute and hour hand, with luminous material at the centerof the hands and \'dots\' outside thenumerals on the dial.The minute hand has a light corrosion / tarnish and is MISSING some of theluminous material. The date hand is red andappears to have light corrosion at the center. There is somediscoloration to the day and month\'wheel\', as viewedthrough the cutouts in the dial.The beveled glassis in good condition.
The movement is stamped \"ANGELUS, CAL. 190\" and is \"15 RUBIES\", as is stamped on the rear cover. There is some light corrosion to some of thevisibleparts. The clock has run for over half and hour. The \'button\' that would silence the alarm that should protrude through the hole in themovement cover at the 9 o\'clock position is MISSING. Pushing on the brass button on the outside of the leather case \'should\' silence the alarm(IF the inner button werepresent). The screw that holds on the alarm knob on the rear of the movement housing is NOT original.
The outer clock case measures approximately 66mm wide x 102mm long x 29mm thick. The inner clock bezel measures 57.8mm square.
I found the clock as shown in the pictures and I am NOT a clock expert, I am selling this clock \"AS IS / AS FOUND\",with no implied warranty or guarantee and NO return, so please offer accordingly.
The collector died over 2 decades ago and collected from the 1960\'s -1980\'s;so I presume a good clean and oil are due!
