Vintage Tinplate Battery Operated Turret Navy Jeep, Modern Toys (M.T.) Japan, EXiBA nice vintage tinplate battery operated Turret NavyJeep with white body, blue windscreen and hubs, plastic driver and rear swivelling gunner figures and nice detailing, made in Japan by the Masudaya or Modern Toys(M.T.) Co. in the 1960\'s. It is all tinplate except forthe 2 plastic figures, machine gun and steering wheel. This is the rarer Navy version of the Desert Patrol Military Jeep, also made by Modern Toys.The Jeep measures 11 inches long by 4.25 wide and 8 inches tall with the rear gunner in position. It has several actions when switched on includinga circular forward and reverse movement, also kicking upon rear wheels, realistic shooting sound and the rear gunner swivels around. The toy is in very good to excellent working condition and the tinplate is also excellent with a clean, rust-free battery box. The toy is marked “Made in Japan” with the“Trade Mark Modern Toys” (M.T.) symbolon the rear of the Jeep, and also on the faircondition original box which has had tape repairs to the lid, but still displays well.Please see our other vintage items listed.

A nice vintage tinplate battery operated Turret Navy

Jeep with white body, blue windscreen and hubs, plastic driver

and rear swivelling gunner figures and nice detailing,

made in Japan by the Masudaya or Modern Toys

(M.T.) Co. in the 1960\'s. It is all tinplate except for

the 2 plastic figures, machine gun and steering wheel.

This is the rarer Navy version of the Desert Patrol

Military Jeep, also made by Modern Toys.

 

The Jeep measures 11 inches long by 4.25 wide

and 8 inches tall with the rear gunner in position.

It has several actions when switched on including

on rear wheels, realistic shooting sound and the

rear gunner swivels around. The toy is in very

good to excellent working condition and the

tinplate is also excellent with a clean,

rust-free battery box.

on the rear of the Jeep, and also on the fair

condition original box which has had tape
