Vtg 30s 40s Dobbs Cross Country Two-Tone Lightweight Fur Felt Fedora Hat 7 3/8 Product DescriptionVintage Dobbs Fifth Avenue Cross Country \"Two-Tone\" fur felt fedora hat dating from the late 1930\'s or early 40\'s. Handsome, classic styling. Color is a light golden brown or camel, and the hat is tagged size 7 3/8 (see measurements below to make a determination on fit). Made of lightweight fur felt to keep a head cool in the summertime, and the wide 2 3/4\" brim will keep the sun off your face. A really nice hat to wear as a change of pace from straw. Darker brown ribbon is 1\" wide. Brim edge is raw with a line of stitching just over 1/8\" in. Leather sweatband inside is marked for Juster Brothers of Minneapolis and \"Dobbs Cross Country Two-Tone\". Dobbs logo inside under the crown. Hat is unlined.

A very lightly worn hat. Condition is good overall but there is minor moth damage to underside of brim in several places (photos 10-12). Last photo shows very tiny bite on the upper side of brim at the front. Note that the sweatband needs to be resewn, as the thread (not the sweatband) has given out at the front. The sweatband itself is perfectly supple, flexible and very clean. No sweat stains on it or anywhere on the inside of the hat. Odor neutral. Size tag has come loose and is tucked in the sweatband.
This hat is a good looker as is, but a professional cleaning and reblocking would really make it stand out.
