Soldier’s name was Robert Canright

He was a Captain who was in Normandy as well as the Battle of the Bulge

He was awarded the Silver Star (Silver Star not included in this set)

Includes two large photos as well as soldier’s ID card

Includes the burial flag from his funeral in 1987

Includes a letter from the White House that is auto-pen signed by BushIncludes graduation program for officer candidate class (proves he was a captain)

Includes a huge foot long photo of soldier training in Ft. Benning, Georgia in 1943

Helmet has a bullet hole in the left side at the temple (see photos)

Helmet liner looks to be a Firestone 47 liner

Chinstrap on helmet is all original; still intact, but has a broken part

Helmet has a hand-painted infantry mark right above the captain’s line

359th Infantry, 90th division
