VTG Borsalino Italy Fedora Hat Grand Prix Paris 1900 Alessandria w/Box 7 1/8 For Sale

Up for sale I have a lovely vintage creamy gray Borsalino fedora hat with a Cavanagh Hats store box. Hat is wonderful and in excellent used vintage condition. Inside is marked Borsalino on a tag, the inside and the side. Grand Prix Paris 1900 Fabrica De Cappeli Alessandria, a size 7 1/8. Tags are in amazing condition so please see the photos for all of there info. Please note that the hat is more of a gray than a camel and when shot with a flash and turned more of the camel color. Box is in very nice condition. Lid has an edge/seam tear around one side where the lid is coming away from the edge border, but the rest is very solid and nice with original tie. Still has an excellent gloss even. Marked Cavanagh Hats New York. Hat has a felt feel to it. I\'m not sure what the material is but its quite soft. It is a gray-camel color. Inside is lined with satin and has the distinct leather tags. Inside is very clean. Thin gray ribbon around hat and a button string attachment that I believe is to attach to your lapel so you don\'t loose your hat! Felt is lovely, shows very little wear and seems to have been well cared for. Two of the tiniest dots from age on the brim and some wear underneath to one side where it would lay on your head. These issues are extremely minor. Marked as a size 7 1/8. Hat is about 5\" tall and brim is about 2 3/4\" wide. Ribbon is about 1/2\". Buyer pays shipping and handling. **AFTER RECEIVING A REQUEST FOR MORE SPECIFICS I THOUGHT I WOULD ALSO ADD IT TO THE DESCRIPTION. The inside of the hat from front to back is about 7 3/4\" and from side to side is about 6 1/2\"There are no moth bites. Perhaps one tiny wear area under the brim that is really really small but I don\'t know if that\'s a moth bite and a similar one on the front? I see one area of hat wear where it is just darker on the underside of the brim and in the light the hat has some overall extremely light discoloration and the two tiny pinprick spots I mentioned in the description as well as some other very faint areas that are discolored as well. Its very hard to show the age discoloration. If anyone would like to request more photos please feel free and contact me!

**An awesome er noticed that the tiny topstitching that goes around the sweatband on the underneath of the hat is missing in the front for about 6\". Sweatband still sits very nicely and snuggly towards the hat and isn\'t loose at all.
