Dapper light brown Stetson Fifteen fedora from the \'40s or \'50s.
Dark brown grosgrain ribbon band with a bow on one side and a brown and orange embroidered rooster button where a slim brown cord holding a grosgrain button is wrapped. I believe this cord is why this is called a \"fifteen\" as I have a similar style \"fifteen\" fedora also on sale this week.
Lined in white satin with a clear plastic inner lining over the Stetson logo.
Also gold embossed along the brown leather sweat band with the Stetson logo and \"3X Beaver Quality\" and \"Mode Edge,\" and \"Stetson Fifteen\" The store where this was sold, H.D. Hesse & Co. Elmhurst, Ill.\" is also embossed.
There are several nicks around the brim and on the crown, and the felt is somewhat dusty here and there even though I used a lint roller on it,but the lining is nice and clean (I\'ve sinced cleaned off the little fleck on the top plastic lining). The true light brown color is best captured in pix 6 and 7 (the others are a little sun washed).
Does have a lot of nicks, but could still be great for a Halloween costume.
Tag states size as 3/8, the inner circumference is 22 1/2\", crown is about 5\", brim is 2 1/2 - 3\".
