Watson, Meagher, Dallmeyer, Kodak, 19th or early 20th Century Antique Mahogany & Brass Plate Camera Outfit
An un-named mahogany and brass plate camera outfit which may be of interest to collectors.
Included in the camera outfit is a hard leather carry case, oak tripod stand, plate holders and brass waterhouse stop lens.
The camera mahogany body is in reasonable condition, the leather bellows are not perfect but seem to be light-tight.
The brass lens front and rear elements appear to be in good condition and they both unscrew from the brass body for cleaning.
The lens has some engraved text but I can\'t make it out precisely, (see photos).The camera appears to be unsigned, however there is a stamped \'\'Standard Slide\'\' text under the glass reflecting screen frame, which may give a clue to the maker.Provenance:Formerly the property of a Sir Richard Harington, (an early 20th century English noble).Please do ask questions as required and do also see my other listings of 17th century through to early 20th century art and collectibles.
