Hidden Treasures is pleased to offer for your consideration thisvintage Willcox & Gibbs chain stitch sewing machine. These were manufactured in Providence, RI, it hasnotbeen restored. The serial number is A350827. With the help of the website Sewalot.com we have dated the machine to 1881 or 1882; he has great information about these machines on this site. This machine would have been used with a treadle table and belt. The sewing platform is nickel plated and needs some attention. Please see all photographs for condition. There are no attachments or a manual.
