The first Socious was made by CKO in 1938. Kellermann stopped manufacturing during WW2. Production resumed after WW2 in 1945.

This was the first post war version made in 1945, denoted by the lack of color. The cycle is outstanding without discernibleflaw and for all intents and purposes this beautiful toy is mint. Working perfectly this is an immaculate 72 year old all tin, hand assembled motorcycle with hand paintedgold and silver finishing.Made in Nuremberg Germany immediately after the war ended. The ingenious mechanism was described by the CKO toy company as follows at the 1938 toy fair in Nuremberg, Germany, when the toy first appeared: \"In this year the firm has again succeeded in appearing at the fair with a particularly timely new item. \"Socious\" is the name of a motorcycle driver with a passenger in the associates seat. The charm of this new item is that the PASSENGER leans his entire upper body into the curve alternatingly according to whether the motorcycle is turning to the right or the left, just as IN REALITY. Since the motorcycle makes alternate left and right CURVES, the reactions of the passenger provide a natural real appearance.\"
