This sale is for a vintage Wm Ainsworth & Son\'s D.W. Bruton\'s pocket transit or compass. The instrument is in very good condition. Note the case does close tight and flush. Our second photo shows it slightly opened. The first patent date reads Sept 18, 1894. The last reads Pat July 20, 1926. This is an issue free instrument which includes it\'s original leather case.
