This unique globe clock comes from The Royal Geographical Society via The Franklin Mint and measures approximately 10 3/4\" tall and 8 7/8\" square at base. The clock is certified to have a 15-jewel movement by Arthur Imhof S.A. of La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. It has a seven-day movement. We have wound the clock per the directions, and it has kept perfect time this past week. The base is made of solid mahogany and shows normal wear from use or handling. The 24 karat gold embellished globe is mounted on and surrounded by hand-worked brass. The top platform has a bit of tarnish or a blemish on the back right corner and a small spot on the brass near the base. There is a small label/plaque on the base that reads, \"1979 The Royal Geographical Society World Clock made for Patricia A. Johnson\". There is a brass plate on the bottom that reads, \"© 1979 Royal Geographical Society\". We will include all paperwork that was found with this clock. Sorry, no box for this one. I will package the clock with extra care to protect it during shipping. Please use the photos as your guide to condition. If you have questions, please ask before you offer.
