Hereis anice example of what I believe to be the smallest Colonial, Half-Post Bottle in the World.
The flask is clear in color.
It was blown in a 16-Rib mold.
It is probably Continental, from either England or Germany.
It is open pontiled with some nice base wear, and is a nice, thick, sturdy bottle.
The Half-Post stands only 3 3/8\" tall. It is about 1 5/8\" thick, 2 1/2\" across the side front, and the base is 1 3/4\" across the pontil.
I know there are some small New England Half-Post\'s out there, but I do not think there is one under 3 1/2\". If there is, let me know and I will update this flask description to the second or third smallest Half-Post in the World.
The bottle for sale in this listing, is obviously the middle bottle shown in the last photograph, group of three.
The flask is in excellent condition, and is offered for sale to you with .
