WW1 British Army Officers Prismatic Compass 1917 Verner\'s Mk V11 Pattern For Sale

A fine example of a first world war officers compass. 100 years old this year. In perfect working order complete with its tiny prism for viewing the compass point as can be seen in the photo. Sadly the leather case is damaged, the tag used to attach the compass tothe officersbelt is missing otherwise it is still in good order even after100 years. It was supplied to Capt Carr by Messrs W G Whiting of Manchester and is one of the truly brilliant products produced by Verner\'swhich helped our men to win the conflict.Steering them through the Poppy fields in those awful days.
