Scarce Original single-sided leaflet from June 6 1944, with exhortation by Eisenhower distributed on the eve of the D-Day landings to all participating troops. \'You are about to embark upon the Great Crusade.........let us all beseech the blessing of Almighty God upon this great and noble undertaking.\' The letter has been carried through D-Day by an Allied soldier, and therefore it has been folded to be kept in a pocket a great been there paper item, In good condition.
